This activity offers the experience of classic mountaineering, climbing the normal routes of the main Dolomite peaks.
These itineraries follow the most direct and accessible routes to the summit, combining rock walking, equipped sections, and moderately difficult climbing.
The normal routes are ideal for those who want to approach mountaineering with the Guide, developing rock technique, rope management, and terrain reading, without sacrificing the thrill of climbing iconic peaks. Each route offers breathtaking views, controlled exposure, and the satisfaction of reaching the summit following historic and natural routes.
The classic routes of the Dolomites represent the ideal approach to rock mountaineering, combining exposure, spectacular views, and medium-difficulty climbing. The routes on the most iconic peaks, such as the normal routes of Sass de
Mura, Cimon della Pala, Sass de l’Ortiga, Grande Cima di Lavaredo, and Civetta, generally have difficulties between UIAA grades 2 and 3. The routes generally have moderate elevation gain, but require good stamina, exposure management, and rope safety.
